Nutrition and Food Service

The division work closely with Medical Staff to provide dietary care to patients with the aim to promote nutritional wellbeing and to prevent nutrition related problems. Practical advice is given to patients on how to eat healthy.

Proper nutrition to those patients who are unable to eat food is given through Tube Feeding. Individual counseling of patients on Enteral Feeding is carried out in these cases like in Nasogastric Feeding, PEG Feeding and Jejunostomy Tube Feeding.

Our Nutrition Division seeks to integrate Clinical Nutrition Service with delicious food and excellent hospital service. Dietitians design Food and Nutrition program and plan menu of the patients according to their therapeutic needs. Range of diet is offered like Clear Fluid, Full Fluid, Soft and Regular diet.

The division comprising of Senior Manager, Dietitians, Supervisors, and well-trained production and service staff are dedicated to provide better Food Services in Burhani Hospital. The main objective of the service is to improve the health of the patient.

Burhani Hospital Food Services Division is responsible for providing meal services for In patients according to their therapeutic needs prepared under sanitary standards. Therapeutic diet is prepared by specially. Trained Cooks and is evaluated by well Trained Dietitians.

Patient Meals Timings:

Breakfast:     7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Lunch:          12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Dinner:          6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
